Oceanfront four bedroom, three bath, family-style house with an inspiring vista of the shores of Stinson Beach. This house is nicely refurbished with stone floors, skylights & clerestory windows. The ocean side primary suite with a King bed, French doors open to the ocean and its own bath. Two bedrooms each with 2 Twin beds and a Jack and Jill bath between. A bunk room with its own bath is attached to the main house but accessed via the courtyard and may not be suitable for young children. Traipse out the back patio door to the idyllic path leading to the beach and relaxing lounge chairs. A large enclosed interior courtyard equipped with ample seating, hot tub, propane BBQ and lush garden area is perfect for entertaining. Thoughtful details throughout and a long list of amenities.

  We love this house. For folks that enjoy cooking, it is perfect. From a salad spinner to sharp knives, from a functioning gas BBQ to plenty of dinnerware, this property's kitchen has it all.
  We also love the semi-separate bunk room so that toddlers don't keep the rest of the house awake.

  We hosted a family reunion over the course of 3 weeks; occupancy ranged from 2 to 8 adults and 1 to 2 toddlers. The home was so comfortable and we had a great time. It is thoughtfully equipped with durable, high-quality appliances, furniture, kitchenware, and linens. Beautiful surroundings, exactly the right distance from the beach - you can see and hear the surf, but the wind and spray are buffered by the dune. We enjoyed midday walks around the Seadrift loop, and beach walks in the late afternoon. The town playground, shops, and restaurants are a quick drive. Bring blackout shades if you have a little one who naps or needs to go to bed before sunset. We also brought our own "kid-friendly" things like plastic cups, small utensils, booster seat, toddler bed/cot. We would love to stay here again.

  We've been staying at this house for many years and it is always a joyful family time at the beach. The house is welcoming and lovely with beautiful views. The owners updated the kitchen appliances this year to our delight. The only improvement I would make is to update the outside furniture.

  The location cannot be beat at 248 Seadrift. The house has a great vibe, and is very accommodating. There were only 5 of us (immediate family) but I could totally envision how the house would work for a larger group. The kitchen was highly functional and well equipped, with all the little extras one hopes for but does not always receive in a rental house. The indoor spaces were excellent, but the outdoor spaces are unparalleled. Such a setting and view--Mt. Tam on the back and the expanse of Stinson beach on the front. We loved the courtyard, with dining table and jacuzzi, plus the back patio and beach viewing area. Beds were great, linens were nice, thoughtful touches of games and beach towels and all the bits that make a vacation more enjoyable. Two thumbs up!!!

  We enjoyed an incredibly wonderful week at 248 Seadrift. It was our second time staying in this beautiful beachhouse. The house has plenty of room for our large family and room to have guests over for dinner, or to spend the day with us. We had our 3 year old grandson along and he loved the beach-time immensely. the house is very well equipped for cooking which we greatly appreciate. It's a very nice home but not too formal. It was perfect. The bunk room is great for our young adult son to invite his friends to come and stay for a night or two at a time.

  This house was rented or 5 days as a birthday present for my son who was turning 30.Everything was perfect and even the weather was son had a barbecue and sleep over for some of his friends. There were plenty of beds and space,a propane barbecue and hot tub Everone enjoyed the house and location immensely. He proposed to his longtime girlfriend at Sunset .A most wonderful time.
